Documenting the Americas Summit protest shall act as a hub for future references and for the evolution and studies of this social movement.

Contribute to it by sending your content and permanent URLs to The Urban Monk for archiving and linking in an upcoming website project.

The Summit of Americas protest was a turning point in the history of the economic anti-globalization movement.

Consequently, the collective memory of this event - currently being written and documented on the web - shall act as a hub for the cyber-mapping of future events, mobilization and political alternatives.

If you are responsible for any anti-FTAA and globalization-related web content, please email me (patpitou@hotmail.com) your content or permanent URLs and I will include them in an upcoming project aimed at linking various sources and points of view about this social movement.

This is an alternative media using open publishing. The CMAQ collective, who validates the posts submitted on the Indymedia-Quebec, does not endorse in any way the opinions and statements and does not judge if the information is correct or true. The quality of the information is evaluated by the comments from Internet surfers, like yourself. We nonetheless have an Editorial Policy , which essentially requires that posts be related to questions of emancipation and does not come from a commercial media.
