Hi, I was just talking to someone at the Quebec Legal Collective (418 622 5261), and they said that they would be meeting with Jaggi Singh before his bail hearing, but they haven't been allowed to meet with him yet. He is being held in a prison outisde of Quebec city, in Ste-Foy, - the same prison which was cleared of 621 prisoners before the summit to make way for arrested activists. The quebec legal collective is advocating on behalf of all of the activists apprehended by police during the past weekend and the lead-up to the summit. I have heard reports that some activists who were arrested on their way up to the summit have been in jail for up to 6 days without being allowed to contact a legal representative...
