vieuxcmaq, Vendredi, Avril 13, 2001 - 11:00

news department CKLN 88.1 fm (ckln-news@sac.ryerson.ca)

Radio spot about the struggle for education in the era of capitalist globalization

Community & pirate radio -- Steal this PSA!

Funky beats from Ozomatli

"Students have been fighting against these attacks
and struggling to defend the right to education
on our campuses, with the provincial government and with the federal government.
We also have to take this struggle to a global scale

There's no point in fighting at a Board of Governors
or with our different levels of government
If our governments are signing international trade agreements
that usurp the democractic decision-making at those three levels
and are paramount

So we need to be fighting for the right to education on all different fronts"

-Erin George, Canadian Federation of Students
