Discussion to Put Forward Our Own Agenda for the Future of the Americas

The youth are determined to defeat the FTAA and plans to plunder the
countries of Latin America and the Caribbean and place all the
resources
of the nation at the disposal of the monopolies. The youth are also
determined to defeat the attempts to criminalize dissent.

• Who decides the future of the Americas: The U.S. or the peoples?
• How do governments which give pride of place to civil liberties,
justify their suspension?
• What is the aim of the “International Democracy Resolution
