FEDERAL NDP LEADER MEETS TORONTO ACTIVISTS

OTTAWA –As momentum builds towards the Quebec City Summit on the Free Trade Agreement of the Americas (FTAA), Alexa McDonough will be in Toronto to meet activists planning to demonstrate in Quebec. The Federal NDP leader has already toured the site of the “security fence” in Quebec. All NDP Members of Parliament will be at Quebec City for the People`s Summit and to join in the massive march protesting the FTAA.

Ms. McDonough will be available for interviews in Toronto on the afternoon of Friday, April 6.

On Saturday, April 7, Ms.McDonough will be speaking to the Globalization Activist Fair at the University of Toronto, SAC Hangar,
100 George Street. Her talk is scheduled for 3:45 p.m.
