SHIITAKE MUSHROOMS! Activist Surrealist Genre Bending Music!

vieuxcmaq, Tuesday, February 5, 2002 - 12:00

David Ney (shiitakemushroom@hotmail.com)

A diverse colorblend cocktail of music, devoted to massive social, cultural, and political change. We seek an end to corporate fascism, and the destruction of all states. Currently seeking bandmates!

Shiitake Mushrooms is an anarchist collective. We feel that the music is an amazing way to educate and enlighten, and we envision a future of communities based on art, peace, and music, and not on consumerism.

We see the emerging counterculture of neo-gypsy tribalism as being a very large threat to the corporate power structures that are modern day governments, and our goal is to delegitimize the supposed "power" that they hold, through education and artwork.

FREE YOUR MIND AND SOUL! NOBODY OWNS YOU! YOU ARE AN INDEPENDANT, LIVING, BREATHING CREATURE OF THE EARTH!
