COBP

LET US KNOW !
If you were among those arrested, whether on criminal charges or in accordance with a municipal by-law (P-6) please let us know so that we can begin planning a collective legal contestation of all tickets issued. We would also like to support the work of the lawyer in charge of those being accused criminally. We need your *information* (Name, address, phone number, email, date of birth, event number, type of infraction). We also ask you to contact us if you have received a court summons.

(Please distribute widely to your networks)

CONTEST YOUR TICKETS !

You have 30 days after the event to contest your ticket. Check the “not guilty” box and do not fill out the plea form (it is optional and will not help your case).

IF YOU ARE A VICTIM OF OR WITNESS TO POLICE BRUTALITY
Please send us a detailed account of the event and include the place (intersection), time, witnesses present as well as the kind of police officers involved (SPVM in army pants, undercover, or riot police).

DO YOU HAVE PHOTO OR VIDEO EVIDENCE ?

If so, please e-mail them to us or contact us. We do not intend to distribute them but rather wish to eventually use them as evidence against the police.

To contact us:
By email: c...@hotmail.com
Through the mail (send an envelope c/o COBP) to DIRA
(2035 St-Laurent, Montréal, Qc, H2X 2T3)
By telephone: 514-395-9691 (Please take the time to leave us a message).

In solidarity,
The Collective Opposed to Police Brutality (COBP)

This is an alternative media using open publishing. The CMAQ collective, who validates the posts submitted on the Indymedia-Quebec, does not endorse in any way the opinions and statements and does not judge if the information is correct or true. The quality of the information is evaluated by the comments from Internet surfers, like yourself. We nonetheless have an Editorial Policy , which essentially requires that posts be related to questions of emancipation and does not come from a commercial media.
